The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has completed most of the preparations for the upcoming Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan, scheduled to be held at the Tirumala Srivari Temple from December 30 to January 8, keeping in view the expected heavy influx of devotees.
TTD Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary inspected the darshan queue arrangements on Saturday morning, starting from Shila Thoranam in Tirumala, along with senior officials from multiple departments. During the inspection, he reviewed the overall readiness of the queue lines and issued specific instructions to ensure smooth crowd management.
As part of the visit, the Additional EO personally checked the functioning of drinking water points, food distribution counters, and toilet facilities along the queue routes. He also interacted with devotees to understand their experiences and gathered direct feedback regarding the facilities.
Speaking to the media later, Sri Venkaiah Chowdary stated that the majority of arrangements for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan are already in place. Based on feedback received from devotees, several improvements and modifications have been implemented in the queue lines. He confirmed that seating arrangements have been provided for pilgrims, along with enhanced drinking water supply and additional toilets near the queue areas.
Special Facilities During Winter Season
Considering the winter conditions in Tirumala, TTD has taken special steps to ensure that food served to devotees remains warm. To further strengthen basic amenities, additional mobile water drums and three mobile food vans have been deployed to supply drinking water and food efficiently across the queue lines.
The Additional EO also reviewed multilingual information boards installed at key locations and within queue corridors to help pilgrims easily access details about available facilities and darshan procedures. He appealed to devotees to make use of these facilities, maintain patience, and have a peaceful darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
Senior officials present during the inspection included DyEOs Sri Lokanatham, Sri Rajendra, Sri Somannarayana, EE Sri Srinivas, DE Sri Chandrasekhar, IT Deputy GM Sri Venkateswarlu Naidu, Medical Superintendent of Aswini Hospital Dr. Venkatasubbareddy, along with vigilance officers and staff.
SSD Token Issuance Suspended
In view of the anticipated heavy rush during Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan, TTD has cancelled the issuance of SSD tokens at the Bhudevi Complex in Tirupati from December 28 to January 7. Devotees are requested to take note of this decision and cooperate with temple authorities.
Important Guidelines for Devotees
- Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan will be held from December 30, 2025 to January 8, 2026 at the Tirumala Temple.
- On December 30, 31, and January 1, darshan will be permitted only for devotees who have obtained tokens through the e-DIP system.
- Token holders must report to the darshan entry points strictly on the date and time slot mentioned on their tokens.
- Devotees without tokens are advised to plan their visit from January 2 to January 8 and avail Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan through the Sarva Darshan queue, based on periodic crowd updates issued by TTD through official channels, SVBC, and social media platforms.
TTD has once again appealed to all devotees to follow instructions, stay informed through official updates, and support the temple administration in ensuring a smooth and orderly Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan.
