History

Sri Alamelu Manga Temple is dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi, the divine consort of Lord Venkateswara. According to tradition, the Goddess manifested in a golden lotus (Alamelu) in the Padma Sarovaram at Tiruchanur. Worship of Goddess Padmavathi is considered essential before visiting Tirumala, as devotees believe her blessings ensure a fulfilling darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

The temple is open daily, with breaks during rituals.
