The sacred Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was performed with traditional fervor at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Thursday morning, following age-old temple customs.
As per Vaishnava tradition, this purification ritual is conducted in preparation for the upcoming Vaikuntha Ekadasi festival, scheduled to be observed on December 30. The ceremony involved sanctifying the temple premises as part of pre-festival observances.
Following the completion of the ritual, Sarva Darshan was opened for devotees, allowing pilgrims to resume worship.
The programme was attended by Temple Assistant Executive Officer Sri Bhaskara Narayana Choudary, Superintendent Sri Seshagiri, Temple Inspector Sri Dhananjayulu, and the team of temple archakas, who together ensured the smooth conduct of the ritual.
