Did the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan last month with my parents. Booked online in advance, reached the counter an hour before our slot, and had darshan within about 3 hours total. Much easier than the free queue, especially for elderly family members.
The best part was those few seconds in front of the deity near the Bangaru Vakili, worth every bit of the wait. Staff kept the line moving but didn’t rush us.
Tip: book your slot early since it fills up fast on weekends, and carry your ID proof and booking confirmation.
Overall a smooth, peaceful experience. Would recommend it if you’re traveling with family or short on time.
