Following temple traditions and Agama Shastra guidelines observed during eclipses, the doors of the temple will be closed before the start of the grahan period. After the completion of the eclipse, purification rituals including Punyahavachanam and Sampoorna Prokshanam will be performed.
The temple will reopen at around 7:30 PM, and darshan for devotees is expected to resume from approximately 8:30 PM onwards, after completion of all post-grahan rituals.
TTD has further informed that several daily sevas and special darshan categories scheduled for March 3 will remain cancelled.
Devotees planning to visit Tirumala on this day are advised to take note of the revised timings and plan their pilgrimage accordingly.
